यथा क्रमेण पुष्पेभ्यक्षिनोति मधु षघट्पद: । तथा द्रव्यमुपादाय राजा कुर्वीत संचयम्
yathā krameṇa puṣpebhyaḥ kṣinoti madhu ṣaṭpadaḥ | tathā dravyam upādāya rājā kurvīta sañcayam ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಜೇನುನೊಣವು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಧುರಸವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಜೇನನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ, ರಾಜನು ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಖಜಾನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಬೇಕು.
