उच्छितान् नाशयेत् स्फीतान् नरेन्द्रानचलोपमान् । श्रयेच्छायामविज्ञातां गुप्तं रणमुपाश्रयेत्
ucchitān nāśayet sphītān narendrān acalopamān | śrayecchāyām avijñātāṁ guptaṁ raṇam upāśrayet ||
ಪರ್ವತದಂತೆ ಅಚಲವಾಗಿರುವ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಉನ್ನತ ರಾಜರನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕುಸಿತಗೊಳಿಸಲಿ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಅವರ ‘ಛಾಯೆ’ಯ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆದು—ಅಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಭಾವದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ—ಸಮಯ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಗುಪ್ತ ರೀತಿಯ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಲಿ.
