Duryodhana-śibira-praveśaḥ — The Pāṇḍavas Enter the Kaurava Camp; The Burning of Arjuna’s Chariot
ततः प्राध्मापयन् शड्खान् पाउ्चजन्यं च माधव: । ह्ृष्टा दुर्योधन दृष्टवा निहतं पुरुषर्षभ
tataḥ prādhmāpayan śaṅkhān pāñcajanyaṃ ca mādhavaḥ | hṛṣṭā duryodhanaṃ dṛṣṭvā nihataṃ puruṣarṣabha ||
ಆಗ ಮಾಧವನು (ಕೃಷ್ಣನು) ಶಂಖಗಳನ್ನು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪಾಂಚಜನ್ಯವನ್ನು, ಊದಿಸಿದನು. ಪುರುಷವೃಷಭನಾದ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಹತನಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಯೋಧರು ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಂಡರು; ಅಧರ್ಮಿ ನಾಯಕನ ಪತನವು ಯುದ್ಧಭಾರದ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಆಗುವುದರ ಸೂಚನೆಯಾಯಿತು।
