वीक्षमाणे ततस्तस्मिन् सिन्धुराजे दिवाकरम्
vīkṣamāṇe tatastasmīn sindhurāje divākaram
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಂಧುರಾಜನು ದಿವಾಕರನತ್ತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಯುದ್ಧದ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಅಪಶಕುನದ ಕ್ಷಣದಂತೆ—ದಿನದ ತಿರುವೂ ರಾಜರು-ವೀರರು ಓದುವ ಶಕುನವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ।
