पुरा यदुच्यसे प्राज्जैः सुहृद्धिर्विदुरादिभि: । मा हार्षी: पाण्डवान् राजन्निति तन्न त्वया श्रुतम्,पहले जब आपके बुद्धिमान् सुहृद् विदुर आदिने आपसे कहा था कि राजन! आप पाण्डवोंके राज्यया अपहरण न कीजिये, तब आपने उनकी यह बात नहीं सुनी थी
purā yad ucyase prājñaiḥ suhṛdbhir vidurādibhiḥ | mā hārṣīḥ pāṇḍavān rājann iti tan na tvayā śrutam ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹಿಂದೆ ವಿದುರಾದಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೂ ಹಿತಕಾಮಿಗಳೂ ಆದ ಸುಹೃದರು ‘ರಾಜನೇ, ಪಾಂಡವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ನೀನು ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
