सिद्ध उवाच
The verse frames an authoritative instruction on higher realms attained after death: one should listen carefully and understand the true nature of the abodes where beings dwell after ascending, implying an ethical link between conduct/merit and posthumous destinations.
A Siddha begins (or continues) a didactic explanation, announcing that he will describe the higher worlds—such as heaven—and the specific stations where beings reside, urging the listener to grasp the account accurately.
