Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa
On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
पर्याये तात कम्मिंश्रिद् ब्राह्मण्यमिह विन्दति । ब्राह्मण जो-जो जिस प्रकार करना चाहता है
śakra uvāca | paryāye tāta kasmiṃś cid brāhmaṇyam iha vindati | tāta jīvaḥ asya jagataḥ antar anekāsu yoniṣu bhraman bāhulyena janma labhate | evaṃ janma-janmāntareṣu kadācit sa brāhmaṇatvaṃ prāpnoti |
ಶಕ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಗನೇ! ಕಾಲಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನು ತನ್ನ ಕರ್ಮಾನುಸಾರ ಯಾವುದೋ ಒಂದು ತಿರುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅನೇಕ ಯೋನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತ ದೇಹಧಾರಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜನ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಜನ್ಮಗಳ ನಂತರ ಯಾವುದೋ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ.
