अजश्च बहुरूपश्च गन्धधारी कपर्द्यपि । ऊर्ध्वरेता ऊर्ध्वलिड्र ऊर्ध्शायी नभःस्थल:
ajaś ca bahurūpaś ca gandhadhārī kapardy api | ūrdhvaretā ūrdhvaliḍra ūrdhvaśāyī nabhaḥsthalaḥ ||
ವಾಯುದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅವನು ಅಜನು, ಬಹುರೂಪನು; ಸುಗಂಧಧಾರಿ, ಜಟಾಧಾರಿಯೂ ಹೌದು. ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣಶಕ್ತಿ ಊರ್ಧ್ವಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವನು ಊರ್ಧ್ವ, ಪರಾತ್ಪರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ನೆಲೆಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತು ಆಕಾಶವಿಸ್ತಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಯನಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
