भगवान् भगहानन्दी वनमाली हलायुध: । आदित्यो ज्योतिरादित्य: सहिष्णुर्गतिसत्तम:
bhagavān bhagahānandī vanamālī halāyudhaḥ | ādityo jyotirādityaḥ sahiṣṇur gatisattamaḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅವನು ಭಗವಾನ್; ಭಗಹಾ—ಭಕ್ತರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಅವರ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹರಣ ಮಾಡುವವನು; ಆನಂದೀ—ಪರಮ ಸುಖಸ್ವರೂಪ; ವನಮಾಲೀ—ವೈಜಯಂತೀ ವನಮಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದವನು; ಹಲಾಯುಧ—ಹಲಶಸ್ತ್ರಧಾರಿ (ಬಲರಾಮಸ್ವರೂಪ); ಆದಿತ್ಯ—ವಾಮನಸ್ವರೂಪ ಆದಿತ್ಯ; ಜ್ಯೋತಿರಾದಿತ್ಯ—ಸೂರ್ಯಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಸ್ವರೂಪ; ಸಹಿಷ್ಣು—ಎಲ್ಲ ದ್ವಂದ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸುವವನು; ಮತ್ತು ಗತಿಸತ್ತಮ—ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮ ಗತಿ, ಪರಮ ಆಶ್ರಯ।
