अतुलः शरभो भीम: समयज्ञो हविह॑रि: । सर्वलक्षणलक्षण्यो लक्ष्मीवान् समितिज्जय:
atulaḥ śarabho bhīmaḥ samayajño havihariḥ | sarvalakṣaṇalakṣaṇyo lakṣmīvān samitijjayaḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅವನೇ ಅತುಲ, ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ; ಶರಭ; ಭೀಮ, ಪಾಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಯಂಕರ; ಸಮಯಜ್ಞ, ಸಮಭಾವಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿತ; ಹವಿರ್ಹರಿ, ಯಜ್ಞದ ಹವಿಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿಸುವವನು. ಅವನು ಸರ್ವಶುಭಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷಿತ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀವಂತ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಿತಿಂಜಯ—ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮವಿಜಯಿ।
