ओजस्तेजोद्युतिधर: प्रकाशात्मा प्रतापन: । ऋद्धः स्पष्टाक्षरो मन्त्रश्नन्द्रांशुर्भास्करद्युति:

Transliteration

ojastejodyutidharaḥ prakāśātmā pratāpanaḥ | ṛddhaḥ spaṣṭākṣaro mantraś candrāṁśur bhāskaradyutiḥ ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅವನು ಓಜಸ್ಸು, ತೇಜಸ್ಸು, ದ್ಯುತಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವವನು; ಪ್ರಕಾಶವೇ ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪ; ತನ್ನ ವಿಭೂತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ತಪಿಸಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವವನು. ಅವನು ಋದ್ಧ: ಧರ್ಮ, ಜ್ಞಾನ, ವೈರಾಗ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ; ಅವನ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ—ಪ್ರಕಟ ಓಂಕಾರ; ಅವನು ವೇದಮಂತ್ರಸ್ವರೂಪ; ಚಂದ್ರಕಿರಣಗಳಂತೆ ಸಂಸಾರತಾಪದಿಂದ ದಗ್ಧವಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಶೀತಳಗೊಳಿಸುವವನು; ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನನು.
