Adhyāya 142: Cyavana, the Devas’ Arrogance, and Vāyu’s Counsel on Protecting Brāhmaṇas
रामो दाशरथिश्वैव हुत्वा यज्ञेषु वै वसु । स गतो हाक्षयाँललोकान् यस्य लोके महद् यश:
rāmo dāśarathiś caiva hutvā yajñeṣu vai vasu | sa gato 'kṣayāṁl lokān yasya loke mahad yaśaḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ದಶರಥನ ಪುತ್ರ ರಾಮನು ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾರ ಧನವನ್ನು ಆಹುತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ನಂತರ ಅಕ್ಷಯ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದನು।
