Umā–Maheśvara-saṃvāda: Varṇa-bhraṃśa, Ācāra (Vṛtta), and Karmic Ascent/Decline
देवतास्तस्य तुष्यन्ति कामिकं चापि सिध्यति । अन्यथा हि वृथा मर्त्याः कुर्वते स्वल्पबुद्धयः
devatās tasya tuṣyanti kāmikaṃ cāpi sidhyati | anyathā hi vṛthā martyāḥ kurvate svalpabuddhayaḥ ||
ಇಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವವನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರು ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವನ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಕಾಮನೆಯೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅಲ್ಪಬುದ್ಧಿಯವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
