Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse

बभूव सो<स्य सचिव: सम्प्रदीप्त इवाग्निना । त्वरया चोपसंगम्य स्नेहादागतसम्भ्रम:

Transliteration

babhūva so ’sya sacivaḥ sampradīpta ivāgninā | tvarayā copasaṅgamya snehād āgata-sambhramaḥ ||

Translation

ಅವನ ಸಚಿವನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಂತಾಯಿತು. ಅವನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆತುರದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು; ಸ्नेಹದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಉಕ್ಕಿತು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಮಹಾಧನುರ್ಧರ ರಾಜನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕಂಡನು—ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಾಗ ನೆಲಕ್ಕುರುಳುವ ಎತ್ತರದ ಇಂದ್ರಧ್ವಜದಂತೆ.
