कतमेन पथा याता दस्यवो द्विजसत्तम | तेन गच्छामहे ब्रह्मन् यथा शीघ्रतरं वयम्
katamena pathā yātā dasyavo dvijasattama | tena gacchāmahe brahman yathā śīghrataraṃ vayam janamejaya ||
“ಹೇ ದ್ವಿಜಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ! ದಸ್ಯುಗಳು ಯಾವ ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಹೋದರು? ಹೇ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ, ನಾವು ಅದೇ ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಲು.”
