आजगाम ततोड<पश्यंस्तमृषिं तस्करानुगा: । तमपृच्छंस्ततो राजंस्तथावृत्तं तपोधनम्‌

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ājagāma tato ’paśyaṃs tam ṛṣiṃ taskarānugāḥ | tam apṛcchaṃs tato rājan tathāvṛttaṃ tapodhanam, Janamejaya |
