Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
सत्यमेतन्महाबाहो यथा वदसि भारत । विश्वासात् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि संतानाय कुलस्य न:
satyam etan mahābāho yathā vadasi bhārata | viśvāsāt te pravakṣyāmi santānāya kulasya naḥ ||
ಅವಳು ಹೇಳಿದಳು—“ಮಹಾಬಾಹು ಭೀಷ್ಮಾ! ಹೇ ಭಾರತ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವಂತೆಯೇ ಅದು ಸತ್ಯ. ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಟ್ಟು, ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಲದ ಸಂತಾನ-ಪರಂಪರೆ ಉಳಿಯಲೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.”
