वैशम्पायन उवाच ततः सत्यवती भीष्मं वाचा संसज्जमानया । विहसन्तीव सत्रीडमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्
vaiśampāyana uvāca tataḥ satyavatī bhīṣmaṃ vācā saṃsajjamānayā | vihasantīva sa-trīḍam idaṃ vacanam abravīt |
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಜನಮೇಜಯನೇ! ಆಗ ಸತ್ಯವತೀ ಸಂಕುಚಿತವಾಗಿ ತಡಬಡಿಸುವ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀಸಹಜ ಲಜ್ಜೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ನಗುವಿನ ಛಾಯೆಯಂತೆ ಭೀಷ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಳು।
