पृथिवीं भाजनं कृत्वा भुक्त्वा पर्वसु मानवः अहोरात्रेण चैकेन त्रिरात्रफलमश्नुते

ಪರ್ವದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೇ ಪಾತ್ರವೆಂದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಯಮದಿಂದ ಭೋಜನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಒಂದು ಅಹೋರಾತ್ರ ವ್ರತದಿಂದ ತ್ರಿರಾತ್ರ ವ್ರತದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
