वसंते कपिलः सूर्यो ग्रीष्मे काञ्चनसप्रभः श्वेतो वर्षासु वर्णेन पाण्डुः शरदि भास्करः

Transliteration

vasaṃte kapilaḥ sūryo grīṣme kāñcanasaprabhaḥ śveto varṣāsu varṇena pāṇḍuḥ śaradi bhāskaraḥ

Translation

ವಸಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಕಪಿಲವರ್ಣ; ಗ್ರೀಷ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಚನಪ್ರಭೆಯಿಂದ ದೀಪ್ತ; ವರ್ಷಾಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ವೇತವರ್ಣ; ಶರದೃತುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಸ್ಕರನು ಪಾಂಡುವರ್ಣ—ಇಂತೆ ಕಾಲಗುಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಶಕ್ತಿ ದೃಶ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ।
