आभ्यन्तरध्यान-तत्त्वगणना-चतुर्व्यूहयोगः
Adhyaya 28
यथा दारुवने रुद्रं विनिन्द्य मुनयः पुरा तस्मात्सेव्या नमस्कार्याः सदा ब्रह्मविदस् तथा
yathā dāruvane rudraṃ vinindya munayaḥ purā tasmātsevyā namaskāryāḥ sadā brahmavidas tathā
ಹಿಂದೆ ದಾರುವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನಿಗಳು ರುದ್ರನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಿದರು ಸದಾ ಸೇವ್ಯರೂ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ್ಯರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ।

It frames Linga-bhakti as inseparable from humility: one must honor brahma-jñānins, because contempt for Rudra (as in Daruvana) leads to spiritual downfall and blocks right worship.
By recalling that even sages once misjudged Rudra, it implies Shiva-tattva is subtle and beyond mere external assessment; the Pati may appear ordinary yet remains the supreme Lord.
