ब्रह्मनारायणस्तवः — शिवस्य प्रभवत्व-प्रतिपादनम्

पुरस्ताद्बृंहते चैव विभ्रान्ताय कृताय च दुर्गमाय महेशाय क्रोधाय कपिलाय च
Transliteration
purastādbṛṃhate caiva vibhrāntāya kṛtāya ca durgamāya maheśāya krodhāya kapilāya ca
Translation
ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿತನಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವವನ್ನೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ; ರಹಸ್ಯಮಯ ವಿಭ್ರಾಂತನಿಗೂ, ಕೃತ (ಕ್ರಿಯಾಸ್ವರೂಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಫಲ)ನಿಗೂ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ. ದುರ್ಗಮನಾದ ಮಹೇಶನಿಗೂ, ಬಂಧನವನ್ನು ದಹಿಸುವ ಕ್ರೋಧಶಕ್ತಿಗೂ, ಕಪಿಲವರ್ಣ ತಪೋತೇಜಸ್ಸಿಗೂ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ.
