यस्य वेदश्च वेदी च विच्छिद्येते त्रिपूरुषम् / स वै दुर्ब्राह्मणो नार्हः श्राद्धादिषु कदाचन

yasya vedaśca vedī ca vicchidyete tripūruṣam / sa vai durbrāhmaṇo nārhaḥ śrāddhādiṣu kadācana

ಯಾರ ವേദಾಧ್ಯಯನವೂ ವೈದಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯೂ ಮೂರು ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಕಡಿದುಹೋಗುತ್ತವೋ, ಅವನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ‘ದುರ್ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ’; ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧಾದಿ ಪಿತೃಕರ್ಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಹನಲ್ಲ।
