तिर्यग्योनिसहस्रेषु कदाचिद् देवतास्व् अपि उत्पद्यति तपोयोगाद् गुणैः सह गुणक्षयात् //
Translation
ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ತೀವ್ರವಾದ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಗಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
