Sanskrit (Devanagari)

वि ते हनव्यां शरणिं वि ते मुख्यां नयामसि । यथावशो न वादिषो मम चित्तमुपायसि

IAST Transliteration

ví te hanavyā́ṃ śaráṇiṃ ví te múkhyāṃ nayāmasi | yáthāvaśó ná vā́diṣo máma cittám upā́yasi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Away we lead thy jaw’s missile, away thy chiefest weapon; so shalt thou, powerless, not speak against me, and unto my will thy mind shall draw near.

Translation

ನಿನ್ನ ದವಡೆಯ ಪ್ರಹಾರಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತೇವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಯುಧವನ್ನೂ ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತೇವೆ—ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನಿರ್ಬಲನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ನನ್ನ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಲಿ.
