Sukta 28
पुरं देवानाममृतं हिरण्यं य आबेधे प्रथमो देवो अग्रे । तस्मै नमो दश प्राचीः कृणोम्यनु मन्यतां त्रिवृदाबधे मे
púraṁ devā́nām amṛ́taṁ híraṇyaṁ yá ābedhé prathamó devó ágre | tásmai námo dáśa prācī́ḥ kṛṇómy ánu manyatāṁ trivṛ́d ābadhé me ||
The Fort of the Gods—deathless, golden—he who first of gods in the beginning brake through (and won it): to him I make obeisance, tenfold, toward the eastern (quarters). Let him, in accord, approve me in my threefold establishing of the fort.
ದೇವರ ಪುರ—ಅಮೃತ, ಸ್ವರ್ಣಮಯ—ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಾಗಿ ಯಾರು ಅದನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿ (ಜಯಿಸಿ) ಪಡೆದರೋ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ವದ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳತ್ತ ದಶವಿಧ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ತ್ರಿವೃತ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಲಿ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಸಹಮತಿಯಾಗಲಿ.
