शुष्मिन्तमं न ऊतये द्युम्निनं पाहि जागृविम्। इन्द्र सोमं शतक्रतो

IAST Transliteration

śuṣmíntamaṃ na ūtáye dyumnínaṃ pāhi jā́gr̥vim | índra sómaṃ śatakrato

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Most mighty in thy force, for our defence—glorious and ever-wakeful—guard thou us. O Indra, Hundred-counselled, (guard) the Soma.

Translation

ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ನೀನು ಶೂಷ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಬಲನಾಗಿರುವೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಊತಿ (ರಕ್ಷಣೆ)ಗಾಗಿ, ದ್ಯುಮ್ನಿ (ಯಶಸ್ವಿ)ಯಾಗಿ ಸದಾ ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು. ಹೇ ಶತಕ್ರತು ಇಂದ್ರ, ಸೋಮವನ್ನೂ (ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ) ಕಾಪಾಡು.
