Sukta 135
खिलानि । भुगित्यभिगतः शलित्यपक्रान्तः फलित्यभिष्ठितः । दुन्दुभिमाहननाभ्यां जरितरोथामो दैव
khilā́ni | bhúgity abhí-gataḥ śálity apá-krāntaḥ phálity abhí-ṣṭhitaḥ | dúndubhim ā́-hananābhyāṃ jaritaróthā́mo daivá
To the waste-lands—‘Bhugity’ hath come up; ‘Śality’ hath withdrawn; ‘Phality’ is set firm. With two beatings on the drum, O ye two reciters, (make) divine strength our stay.
ಬಯಲು/ಬಂಜರು ನೆಲಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ—‘ಭುಗಿತ್ಯ’ (Bhugity) ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ; ‘ಶಲಿತ್ಯ’ (Śality) ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರಿದಿದೆ; ‘ಫಲಿತ್ಯ’ (Phality) ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ. ದುಂದುಭಿ (ಡೋಲು) ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಹೊಡೆದು, ಹೇ ಎರಡು ಜರಿತರರು (ಪಠಕರು-ಗಾಯಕರು), ದೈವಬಲವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಸರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
