स्वादोरित्था विषूवतो मध्वः पिबन्ति गौर्यः । या इन्द्रेण सयावरीर्वृष्णा मदन्ति शोभसे वस्वीरनु स्वराज्यम्

IAST Transliteration

svādóḥ itthā́ viṣūváto mádhvaḥ pibanti gáuryáḥ | yā́ índreṇa sayā́varīr vṛ́ṣṇā mádanti śóbhase vásvīr ánu svārā́jyam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thus, at the turning-point, the tawny ones drink of the honey-sweet draught; they who, moving in one course with Indra, with the Bull, exult for splendour—bounteous—following after sovereign power.

Translation

ಹೀಗೆ ವಿಷಯೂವತ (ಮಧ್ಯಬಿಂದು/ತಿರುವು) ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರ್ಯಃ (ತಾಮ್ರವರ್ಣಿಯವರು) ಮಧು-ಮಧುರ ಪಾನವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಂದ್ರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುವವರು, ವೃಷ್ಣಾ (ವೃಷಭ—ಬಲವಂತ)ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶೋಭೆಗಾಗಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ—ವಸ್ವೀ (ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿದಾಯಕರು) ಆಗಿ—ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ಯ (ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಾಧಿಕಾರ)ವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
