अव स्वराति गर्गरो गोधा परि सनिष्वणत्। पिङ्गा परि चनिष्कददिन्द्राय ब्रह्मोद्यतम्

IAST Transliteration

áva svarāti gárgaro godhā́ pári saniṣvaṇat | píṅgā pári caniṣkadad índrāya bráhmódyatam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Downward there resoundeth the gargar; the iguana rang about on every side. The tawny one leapt round about, when for Indra the holy spell was uplifted.

Translation

ಕೆಳಗಡೆ ಗರ್ಗರದ ಗರ್ಜನೆ ಮೊಳಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಗೋಧಾ (ಇಗ್ವಾನ) ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಾ ನಾದಮಾಡಿತು. ಪಿಂಗಳಾ (ತಾಮ್ರವರ್ಣಿ) ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹಾರಾಡಿತು—ಇಂದ್ರನಿಗಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ (ಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಂತ್ರಶಕ್ತಿ) ಉದ್ಧತವಾಗಿ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ.
