Sukta 5

अघ्न्ये प्र शिरो जहि ब्रह्मज्यस्य कृतागसो देवपीयोरराधसः

ághnye prá śíro jahi brahma-jyásya kṛtā́gaso deva-pīyór arā́dhasaḥ

O Aghnyā, smite forth the head of him, the Brahma-slayer—of the sinner who hath wrought the guilt, who hath drunk what is the Gods’, devoid of grace and rightful weal.

ಹೇ ಅಘ್ನ್ಯಾ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನ—ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದೋಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವವನ, ದೇವರ ಪಾನೀಯವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದವನ, ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದವನ—ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಕತ್ತರಿಸು.
