द्वादश प्रधयश्चक्रमेकं त्रीणि नभ्यानि क उ तच्चिकेत । तत्राहतास्त्रीणि शतानि शङ्कवः षष्टिश्च खीला अविचाचला ये
dvā́daśa pradháyaś cakrám ékaṃ trī́ṇi nábhyāni ká u tát ciketa | tatrā́hatās trī́ṇi śatā́ni śaṅkávaḥ ṣaṣṭíś ca khīlā́ avicā́calā yé
Twelve are the fellies of the single wheel; three are the naves—who, indeed, hath discerned it? Therein are driven fast three hundred pegs, and sixty stakes besides, that stir not from their place.
ಒಂದು ಚಕ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಪ್ರಧಿಗಳು (ಫೆಲ್ಲಿಗಳು) ಇವೆ; ಮೂರು ನಾಭಿಗಳು—ಇದನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಯಾರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ನೂರು ಶಂಕುಗಳು (ಮೂಳೆ/ಖೂಂಟೆಗಳು) ಬಿಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ನೆಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅರವತ್ತು ಖೀಲಗಳು (ಕಿಲೆಗಳು) ಇವೆ—ಅವು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಅಚಲವಾಗಿವೆ.
