एषा सनत्नी सनमेव जातैषा पुराणी परि सर्वं बभूव । मही देव्यु१षसो विभाती सैकेनैकेन मिषता वि चष्टे

IAST Transliteration

eṣā́ sanatnī́ sánam evá jātā́ eṣā́ purāṇī́ pári sárvaṃ babhūva | mahī́ devy ùṣásaḥ vibhātī́ sā́ ékena ékena míṣatā ví caṣṭe

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

This is the ancient one, born from of old; this primeval one hath encompassed all around. Great is the Goddess—Dawn—shining forth: she, one by one, beholds distinctly the living that blink.

Translation

ಇದು ಸನಾತನವಾದ ಪುರಾತನಿಯೇ; ಇದು ಆದಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಪುರಾಣಿಯೇ; ಇದು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ. ಮಹಾದೇವಿ—ಉಷಸ್ಸು—ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿ ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಕಣ್ಣು ಮಿಟುಕಿಸುವ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಳು ಒಂದೊಂದಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
