ययौ जडगतिः पश्चात् ये त्वन्ये त्वरितं ययुः शीघ्रान् शीघ्रगतीन् दृष्ट्वा अशीघ्रं तं नृपोऽब्रवीत्
yayau jaḍagatiḥ paścāt ye tvanye tvaritaṃ yayuḥ śīghrān śīghragatīn dṛṣṭvā aśīghraṃ taṃ nṛpo'bravīt
ಜಡಗತಿಯವನಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಹಿಂದೆ ನಡೆದನು; ಇತರರು ಮಾತ್ರ ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುವವರನ್ನು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ರಾಜನು ಆ ನಿಧಾನಗತಿಯವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಇಷ್ಟು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿರಬೇಡ.”
