Related Themes: Agni Purana 373.29-32 (dhyāna-lakṣaṇa and contemplation formula)
It teaches a practical sādhana method: alternate japa (mantra repetition) and dhyāna/cintana (meditative contemplation) to manage fatigue while keeping continuous devotional practice.
Alongside its many subjects, the Agni Purana also preserves actionable spiritual techniques—here, a concise practice protocol for sustaining worship through alternating disciplines (japa and dhyāna), reflecting its manual-like breadth.
Steady engagement in japa and meditation is presented as quickly generating divine grace: sustained, balanced practice leads to Viṣṇu’s prompt satisfaction and favor.
