मुक्त्वाग्निं मृदितव्रीहिरदग्धः शुद्धिमाप्नुयात् अन्तरा पतिते पिण्डे सन्देहे वा पुनर्हरेत्

ಅಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಬದಿಗಿಟ್ಟ ಬಳಿಕ, ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ಕುಟ್ಟಿದ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಡದ ಆಹುತಿ ಶುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ವಿಧಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಂಡ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಶಯ ಉಂಟಾದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
