कन्याकामो घृताक्तानि युग्मशो ग्रथितानि तु जातीपुष्पाणि जुहुयाद्ग्रामार्थी तिलतण्डुलान्

kanyākāmo ghṛtāktāni yugmaśo grathitāni tu jātīpuṣpāṇi juhuyādgrāmārthī tilataṇḍulān

ಕನ್ಯೆ (ಪತ್ನಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವನು ತುಪ್ಪದಿಂದ ಲೇಪಿಸಿ ಜೋಡಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಗೂಡಿಸಿದ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೂಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹುತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಗ್ರಾಮ/ಭೂದಾನವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವನು ಎಳ್ಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಕಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೋಮಿಸಬೇಕು।
