इत्य् आग्नेये महापुराणे त्वरितापूजा नामाष्टाधिकत्रिशततमो ऽध्यायः अथ नवाधिकत्रिशततमो ऽध्यायः त्वरितामन्त्रादिः अग्निर् उवाच अपरां त्वरिताविद्यां वक्ष्ये ऽहं भुक्तिमुक्तिदां पुरे वज्राकुले देवीं रजोभिर्लिखिते यजेत्
ity āgneye mahāpurāṇe tvaritāpūjā nāmāṣṭādhikatriśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ atha navādhikatriśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ tvaritāmantrādiḥ agnir uvāca aparāṃ tvaritāvidyāṃ vakṣye 'haṃ bhuktimuktidāṃ pure vajrākule devīṃ rajobhirlikhite yajet
ಇಂತೆ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಮಹಾಪುರಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ತ್ವರಿತಾಪೂಜಾ’ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ನೂರು ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವು ಸಮಾಪ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಈಗ ಮೂರು ನೂರು ಹತ್ತನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ—‘ತ್ವರಿತಾ-ಮಂತ್ರಾದಿ’ ಆರಂಭ. ಅಗ್ನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಭೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಮೋಕ್ಷ ನೀಡುವ ಅಪರ (ಗುಪ್ತ) ತ್ವರಿತಾವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಜ್ರಾಕುಲಾ ರೂಪಿಣಿ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ರಜ (ಧೂಳಿ/ಚೂರ್ಣ)ದಿಂದ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಬೇಕು.
