तत्राघमर्षणमित्यादिः देवतापितृतर्पणमित्यन्तः पाठः झ पुस्तके नास्ति ततो ऽग्निहरणमिति ङ , छ च दीपं दत्वेति झ ततः समभिगच्छेत योगाक्षेमार्थमीश्वरं आसनं शयनं यानं जायापत्यङ्कमण्डलुः

tatrāghamarṣaṇamityādiḥ devatāpitṛtarpaṇamityantaḥ pāṭhaḥ jha pustake nāsti tato 'gniharaṇamiti ṅa , cha ca dīpaṃ datveti jha tataḥ samabhigaccheta yogākṣemārthamīśvaraṃ āsanaṃ śayanaṃ yānaṃ jāyāpatyaṅkamaṇḍaluḥ

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಅಘಮರ್ಷಣಂ’ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಯಿಂದ ‘ದೇವತಾ-ಪಿತೃತರ್ಪಣಂ’ ಇತ್ಯಂತದ ಪಾಠವು ಝ ಪ್ರತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಂತರ ಙ ಮತ್ತು ಛ ಪ್ರತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಅಗ್ನಿಹರಣಂ’ ಎಂಬ ಪಾಠವಿದೆ; ಝ ಪ್ರತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಬದಲು ‘ದೀಪಂ ದತ್ವಾ’ (ದೀಪವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ) ಎಂದು ಇದೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮ (ಹಿತ-ರಕ್ಷೆ)ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈಶ್ವರನನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ, ಆಸನ, ಶಯನ, ಯಾನ, ಪತ್ನಿ-ಪುತ್ರ, ಅಂಕ/ಖಾಟ ಮತ್ತು ಕಮಂಡಲು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
