ताम्बूलादाविदं न्यस्य जप्त्वा दद्यादुशीरकं न्यस्तुवीजेन हस्तेन स्पर्शनं तद्वशे स्मृतं

tāmbūlādāvidaṃ nyasya japtvā dadyāduśīrakaṃ nyastuvījena hastena sparśanaṃ tadvaśe smṛtaṃ

ತಾಂಬೂಲಾದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೊದಲು ಈ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಜಪಿಸಿ, ನಂತರ ಉಶೀರಕ (ವೆಟಿವರ್) ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಬೀಜಮಂತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಂಡ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸುವುದು ಅವನನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸುವುದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
