इत्य् आग्नेये महापुराणे मन्त्ररूपौषधकथनं नाम त्र्यशीत्यधिकद्विशततमो ऽध्यायः अथ चतुरशीत्यधिकद्विशततमो ऽध्यायः मृतसञ्जीवनीकरसिद्धयोगः धन्वन्तरिर् उवाच सिद्धयोगान् पुनर्वक्षे मृतसञ्जीवनीकरान् आत्रेयभाषितान् दिव्यान् सर्वव्याधिविमर्दनान्

ಇಂತೆ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಮಹಾಪುರಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಮಂತ್ರರೂಪ ಔಷಧಕಥನ’ ಎಂಬ 283ನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವು ಸಮಾಪ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಈಗ 284ನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಆರಂಭ—‘ಮೃತಸಂಜೀವನೀಕರ ಸಿದ್ಧಯೋಗ’. ಧನ್ವಂತರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು: ಆತ್ರೇಯರು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ, ದಿವ್ಯ, ಸರ್ವವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮರ್ಧಿಸುವ, ಮೃತನಿಗೂ ಜೀವ ನೀಡುವ ಸಿದ್ಧಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪುನಃ ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
