वीर्यपाके विपर्यस्ते प्रभावात्तत्र निश् चयः मधुरो ऽपि कटुः पाके यच्च क्षौद्रं प्रकीर्तितं
vīryapāke viparyaste prabhāvāttatra niś cayaḥ madhuro 'pi kaṭuḥ pāke yacca kṣaudraṃ prakīrtitaṃ
ವೀರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಪಾಕದ ಸಂಬಂಧವು ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕಂಡರೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕವು ಪ್ರಭಾವವೇ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೌದ್ರ (ಜೇನು) ಮಧುರ ರಸವಿದ್ದರೂ ವಿಪಾಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟುವೆಂದು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ।
