Concept: Krama-śuddhi of tattvas: systematic purification from gross to subtle, supported by mantra and homa closure.
Application: Adopt a sequential inner purification model (tattva-śodhana) rather than a single act—use mantra + offering to anchor the transformation in the disciple.
Khanda Section: Puja-vidhi (Homa, mantra-prayoga, bhūta-śuddhi / tattva-śodhana)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta

Related Themes: Agni Purana 27 (tattva-śodhana, pūrṇāhuti, disciple-rite completion)
It teaches a homa-mantra sequence culminating in the pūrṇāhuti, followed by a disciple-focused rite, and then prescribes sequential purification (saṃśodhana) of tattvas—i.e., a bhūta-śuddhi/tattva-śodhana procedure.
It functions like a compact ritual manual: giving specific offering-formulas (svāhā/vauṣaṭ), a Vāsudeva salutation-mantra, timing cues (after pūrṇāhuti), and a systematic metaphysical practice (tattva purification), showing the text’s coverage of both liturgy and doctrine.
By ritually ‘dissolving’ the bhūtas and purifying tattvas in order, the practitioner aims at inner cleansing and eligibility for higher worship/initiatory practice, with the pūrṇāhuti sealing the act as complete and meritorious.
