Concept: Macrocosm–microcosm linkage: terrestrial order and mental constructs (saṅkalpa) are genealogically tied to cosmic principles (lunar–nakṣatra).
Application: In vrata/saṅkalpa practice, recognize ‘saṅkalpa’ as a cosmically grounded act aligned with lunar/astral timing and order.

This verse primarily transmits cosmological–genealogical knowledge: it maps terrestrial creation (“earth-domain”) to Arundhatī and connects a class of progeny (Saṅkalpas) to the Moon and the Nakṣatras, reflecting a Jyotiṣa-informed lineage schema rather than a ritual procedure.
By cataloging creation and descent lines (Earth-domain → Arundhatī; Saṅkalpā → Saṅkalpas; Moon/Nakṣatra linkage), the text functions like a reference compendium—blending cosmology, mythic genealogy, and astral classifications that later support topics such as calendrics and sacred history.
Remembering and reciting creation-lineages is traditionally considered purifying (smṛti/śravaṇa of sṛṣṭi-krama), reinforcing a devotee’s sense of cosmic order (ṛta/dharma) and one’s place within the divinely structured universe.
