य एवाग्निः स वै तेजो ब्राह्मं परमकारणम् । बाहुभ्यामप्यसौ तेजः क्षात्रं तेजः ससर्ज ह ॥ ९.१६ ॥

ya evāgniḥ sa vai tejo brāhmaṃ paramakāraṇam | bāhubhyām apy asau tejaḥ kṣātraṃ tejaḥ sasarja ha || 9.16 ||

អគ្គិនោះឯងគឺជាតេជស (ពន្លឺអំណាច) ជាពលកម្មព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ និងជាមូលហេតុខ្ពស់បំផុត។ ពីព្រះបាហុទាំងពីរ ពន្លឺដដែលនោះបានបង្កើតក្សាត្រតេជស គឺអំណាចរាជ និងអំណាចអ្នកយុទ្ធ។
