श्रीराम उवाच । शृणु सीते प्रवक्ष्यामि माहात्म्यं भुवि यादृशम् । त्वत्कुण्डस्यास्य सुभगे त्वत्प्रीत्या कथयाम्यहम्

ព្រះរាមដ៏ស្រីបានមានពាក្យថា៖ ស្តាប់សិន សីតា ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រកាសអំពីមហាត្ម្យៈនៃអណ្តូងទឹកនេះរបស់អ្នក ដូចដែលមាននៅលើផែនដី។ ឱ អ្នកមានសុភមង្គល ដើម្បីឲ្យអ្នករីករាយ ខ្ញុំនឹងនិយាយវា។
