चंद्र उवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश वरार्हो यदि वाऽप्यहम् । सोमनाथेति तं नाम भूयाद्ब्रह्मावधि प्रभो
caṃdra uvāca | yadi prasanno deveśa varārho yadi vā'pyaham | somanātheti taṃ nāma bhūyādbrahmāvadhi prabho
ចន្ទ្រាបាននិយាយ៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃទេវតាទាំងឡាយ—បើព្រះអង្គពេញព្រះហฤទ័យ ហើយបើខ្ញុំក៏សមនឹងទទួលពរផង—ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ សូមឲ្យព្រះនាមនោះជា ‘សោមនាថ’ ស្ថិតស្ថេររហូតដល់ចុងកាលនៃអាយុព្រះព្រហ្ម»។
