आपस्तंब उवाच । श्रमेण महताविष्टाः कैवर्त्ता दुःखजीविनः । मम मूल्यं प्रयच्छेति यद्योग्यं मन्यसे नृप
āpastaṃba uvāca | śrameṇa mahatāviṣṭāḥ kaivarttā duḥkhajīvinaḥ | mama mūlyaṃ prayaccheti yadyogyaṃ manyase nṛpa
អាបស្តំបៈមានព្រះបន្ទូល៖ «អ្នកនេសាទទាំងឡាយ ជីវិតពោរពេញដោយទុក្ខ និងត្រូវទ្រាំការខិតខំធំធេង បាននិយាយថា ‘សូមបង់តម្លៃរបស់ខ្ញុំ’។ បើព្រះអង្គយល់ថាសមគួរ ឱ ព្រះរាជា សូមប្រទានការបង់នោះ។»
