ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि यत्र जांबवती नदी । पुरा जांबवतीनाम विष्णोर्या महिषीप्रिया । अपृच्छदर्जुनं साध्वी वद वार्तां कुरू द्वह
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi yatra jāṃbavatī nadī | purā jāṃbavatīnāma viṣṇoryā mahiṣīpriyā | apṛcchadarjunaṃ sādhvī vada vārtāṃ kurū dvaha
ឥશ્વរ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «បន្ទាប់មក ឱ មហាទេវី គួរទៅកាន់ទីកន្លែងដែលទន្លេជាំបវតីហូរ។ កាលពីបុរាណ ស្ត្រីសុចរិតឈ្មោះ ជាំបវតី ដែលជាមហេសីជាទីស្រឡាញ់របស់វិષ્ણុ បានសួរអរជុនថា៖ ‘សូមប្រាប់ដំណឹង; ចូរនិយាយតាមពិត ដោយមិនលាក់បាំង។’»
