Śiva (Bhagavān)
Tirtha: Somnātha-liṅga at Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Dvija-sattama (best of twice-born)
Scene: A priestly devotee places a single fresh flower upon the top of a liṅga; the act radiates a subtle aura suggesting yajña-fire’s merit transmuted into devotional offering.
Sincere devotion in simple worship can yield the same merit as elaborate sacrificial rituals.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prabhāsa), praised in the Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya section.
Offering even a single flower to the Śiva-liṅga with devotion, especially upon its top (śiras).
